So….Pinterest, What’s For Dinner?

Yes, I love Pinterest for the gorgeous images…the new discoveries…the beautiful style inspiration…the quotes that cheer me on and those Willie Wonka Memes that make me laugh, but one of the most amazing things I enjoy about Pinterest is having dinner inspiration at my fingertips.  Dinner at Sparkle Manor has certainly been ungraded in the last 9 months since my introduction to this visual & organizational wonder.

I have mentioned that I am no creative cooking wonder and that my Mr. is a fabulous cook, but since my schedule has been more flexible of late, I do the meal planning, shopping and a good chunk of the cooking during the week (The weekends are all up to the Mr. and his beloved grill.  Commence the Meat-a-thon!!).

Before Pinterest, I had a repertoire of about 5 simple dishes that are vey sad & not even worth mentioning.  Enter the big P and all that has changed.

Typically on Sunday, I visit my “Nourish” board and pick 4 entrees/sides, make my shopping list and we are set for the week.  Here are a few of the dishes I have made or are in the cue to be tried.  I have included a link to the original recipe location or you can peruse my whole board here.  Oh, and “Sweet Treats” are found here.

Seared Scallops with Spinach and Warm Tuscan Beans

Pasta Carbonara

Momma C&E’s Chicken Curry

Slow Cooker Black Bean Mushroom Chili

Roasted Cumin-Lime Carrots

Shredded Brussels Sprouts with Lemon and Poppy Seeds

Kale Ceasar Salad

And for Dessert……….

Lemon & Almond Tart

I can’t wait to try the Shredded Brussel Sprouts. My family won’t know what hit them! I never thought to shred Brussel Sprouts.

Oh wow! It’s like the best cooking mags at your fingertips. The site of the carbonara makes my stomach growl.
